UTIA

UTIA is Institute of Information Theory and Automation of the Czech Academy of Sciences. It is located in Prague. UTIA department of Signal processing develops board support packages for custom SoC systems based on Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ SoC modules with HW accelerators in programmable logic parts of devices. We perform integration of custom embedded SoC. Zynq devices are implemented on industrial-grade modules with Debian OS manufactured by the German company Trenz-electronic. The supported systems can run secure data provider and data consumer SW services compatible with the Arrowhead Framework in a local ethernet network cloud. The supported Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ SoC can interface high speed custom I/O modules like the Analog Devices A/D and D/A data acquisition FMC cards with up to 1G sample/s sampling rates. Programmable logic can also interface the Full HD HDMI video input and output. The customisable HW accelerators can be defined in C/C++ or in Matlab Simulink and compiled to the programmable logic of the Zynq device as HW IPs. UTIA provides public access to all released applications notes and evaluation packages.
