Arrowhead Partners in New Initiative

Arrowhead Partners in New Initiative

Jotne teams up with Northern Sweden’s most digital construction company

Sharing experiences and investigating potential collaborations can provide the spark that turns ideas into reality. One of the primary goals of the Arrowhead project is to bring partners together to create these synergies and continue progress on Industry 4.0, essentially a global open-source project promoting more efficient industrial practices in a broad range of fields.

A recent result as a spin-off of the Arrowhead Tools project is that two partners, Jotne and Lindbäcks Bygg, have come together to apply for European funding for a new project. Jotne is a leader in the development of open standards-based product data exchange with a focus on Aeronautics, Space, Defence and Built Environments. And it is in the Built Environments domain that Lindbäcks Bygg forms a natural partner. Lindbäcks was recently acclaimed as Norrbotten County’s most digital construction company and is widely recognized as a pioneer of digital solutions in building and construction. The family-owned company with roots in Norrbotten county prides itself on its investment in technologies that can create more efficient and sustainable practices not only within the company but within the entire sector. Cloud solutions, robotization, self-driving vehicles and digital twinning are some of the technologies currently employed and the company continues to invest and develop, working closely with other organizations, including Luleå University of Technology and the Arrowhead project.
